On a summer vacation to France, I was inspired by the custom plates found in bistro's around the country. Always white, usually with a band or two in a unique font featuring the restaurants name. When I returned to the States, searching to buy some customized with our family name, I continually came up short. So I set out on a journey to create my own. I met with ceramic artists, talked to manufacturers worldwide, took pottery classes, tested different kilns and clays, and experimented with different glazing techniques. Two years later, Gallo Ceramica was founded. We create personalized, high quality, functional tableware. Enjoy!
